Day 5 ; Six Things You Wish You'd Never Done.

1) Pulling an all nighter just to read. Yes, I've done this countless times

2) This damn list. I don't believe in regretting things I've done. But onwards with the shameless hypocrisy!

3) Giving up ballet when I was a kid. I constantly imagine a life in which I'm flexible.

4) Getting into fights for the most idiotic reasons.

5) Not even attempting to stop swearing. Take me as I am, eh?

6) That thing that I did the day before this year's math midterm. Stupid move, Maneesha. Stupid move. Yeah, dumbass. Listen to your head next time.

End note. My brain's commentary on this is in italics. Sarcastic italics as Russell Brand would say.

That is all. :)

and the darkness looms upon us all. mwahahahaha.

So if you're my age (15) and in Malaysia, you probably know what the darkness that looms upon us all is. If you guessed PMR, 10 points! I want to be worried and study my ass off and watch the hard work pay off during Results Day. But the thing is, I just can't bring myself to care.

This really isn't what I want to be doing with my life. Yeah, I know, I'm probably not supposed to be questioning what my obligations are, and as of now, preparing and taking the exams are my obligations. But enough about that, lets move on to better things eh? :)

I've recently read the Night Angel Trilogy by the amazing Brent Weeks. I have to admit, I picked up the first book, The Way Of Shadows, because I just really wanted to read something new. I was so sick of Vampires fucking everywhere. (side note; Vampires Suck! anyone?)

So yeah, continuing, it's an absolutely brilliant book. Seriously. You should all go get it. Admittedly, the beginning of the book was disturbing because of the themes in it. (if you can't take graphic murder scenes, this is NOT the book for you.)

But other than that, it was amazingly well written, it gets you thinking, and you can be damn well sure that it'll keep you interested throughout. Okay, I could go on for pages about how much I adore this book, but I'm gonna stop here, and put up the summary for the book so that you can read it and decide for yourself if it's worth it. :)

Summary --> For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art-and he is the city's most accomplished artist. For Azoth, survival is precarious. Something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he's grown up in the slums, and learned to judge people quickly - and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint. But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name. As Kylar Stern, he must learn to navigate the assassins' world of dangerous politics and strange magics - and cultivate a flair for death.

1) Don't be a douche.

2) Be able to deal with my ridiculous mood swings.

3) Put up with my idiotic obsessions.

4) Be silly. God knows I don't want serious all the time. :)

5) Be honest. Even with really small things. Those count.

6) Hugs. Lots of hugs are pretty damn important.

Day 2 ; 9 Things About Yourself

1) I enjoy the color purple.

2) The one thing I really really like about myself physically would be my hair.

3) I don't trust people easily.

4) I've been hurt by close friends more times than I can count.

5) I firmly believe that fiction is better than reality.

6) I will get a tattoo on my wrist the day after my 18th birthday.

7) I love to sing, it's one of the few times I allow myself to just chill the fuck out and enjoy myself. :)

8) I believe that penguins will one day rule the world.

9) I remember every single insignificant detail about a conversation, or a person that I've met. I have no idea why. Doesn't even matter if said conversation took place like, 4 years ago. Somehow, I still will remember it. Whether I want to or not.
