Oh, 2011. Didn't see you there.

Greetings from The Penguin's nest! How are you all doing? :) Well, seems like we're two weeks into the new year isn't it? I did absolutely nothing during the holidays except sleep, watch movies, and hang out with friends. I did meet a few cool people during the hols though.

News, I'm not doing Form 4! Which is fantastic cause it means I'm not sitting for SPM. I am, however sitting for IGCSE in May/June of  '12.

Now then, we're doing a book report thing for English. Basically, we're allowed to do it on any book of our choice, and i've decided to do The Black Prism by the splendiferous Brent Weeks. Mostly, I'm doing it so more people will read his amazing, badass, awesome books. (Yeah, I'm talking to you. Go check it out, seriously. Come on, it has a maa-aaap. :D)

I know, my last blog post was like, in November I think? So yeah. I shall update more frequently this year, (hopefully).

Oh aaaand, lastly ;

Movies & TV Shows I cannot wait to watch.

1) The Borgias (TV) ; starring Jeremy Irons as  Rodrigo Borgia, the badass cardinal who ends up being the Pope. Think the Godfather, and you'll get the basic picture.
2) Camelot (TV) ; Joseph Fiennes as Merlin, Jamie Campbell Bower as Arthur, AND  Eva Green as Morgan Le Fay? Ahhhh, the cast is too good to be true! I didn't believe it at first, until I saw the official trailer.

On to movies.

1) Pirates of the Caribbean 4 : On Stranger Tides. No explanation needed.
2) Love and Other Drugs. I will watch anything with Anne Hathaway.
3) Green Lantern. I really, really hope they don't screw this up. Hal Jordan is my favorite Green Lantern.
4) Morning Glory. Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford? Looks good to me.
5) Your Highness. Which seems to be just made of awesome.
6) Thor. More Natalie Portman! Yay! Looks damn good, too.
7) Rango. More Johnny Depp is always a good thing.
8) Friends With Benefits. Looks funny as hell + Mila Kunis. :D

So, I'm off to go watch Romeo + Juliet, (the Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes version) and Shakespeare In Love  in hopes of understanding more lines from the original Romeo and Juliet for literature. Also, has anyone seen the new season of Californication? It's ridiculously awesome.
